This page is just for loop rides, that start and finish in the same place. For Family riding this definetly the best option, it removes the "can we turn around?" excuse. It avoids tricky getting the whole family with bikes onto a train scenario. For those riding with trailers this option is not really even possible.
The ferries /rivercats on the Parramatta river can be quite crowded on the weekends, so returning by ferry is not as fun as it should be. Trying to push a bike through a crowd on the ferry is not easy or pleasant for adults let alone kids.
They are from all over Sydney, if you want to find routes in your local or a new area, look under the geographical headings (Western Sydney, Southern Sydney etc)
The more I work on this site the more I realise there is heaps of places I havent got to write about yet. Oh dear more bike riding!
